About the author
Tory Allyn currently resides in Upstate New York. Although born in Syracuse, he was raised in the quaint town of Baldwinsville with his brother and two sisters, who drove him into becoming the zany person he is today. As a child, he made up many a tale. Some funny; others dark and brooding, but all started him on the path to writing. Today, his nephew, lovingly referred to as 'The Monster Child', is his partner in crime. Most days, you will see them playing ball at a nearby park, going for a dip in the backyard pool or snowboarding down a popular mountainside.
Tory has written his first novel, ALTER EGO. He completed a second novel, ALTER BOYS. His third novel, ALTER GIRLS, is in the editing stage. ALTER BOUND will be last. All four are a series entitled, THE DAVENPORT DECREES.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2016I was very intrigued by this story; it’s about these detectives that have a huge Problematic situation from which one does not know what to do, so they try to find a way to resolve. This book is a page- turner keeps you fascinated with each word can’t go wrong with this awesome book, with drama, romance and FBI agents a secret formula so much “Chao.” Tory Allyn did a great job writing this amazing book.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2020This book is absolutely Hilarious. I thought book one was full of laughs, but this book is sick!!😂 The dialog between the characters had me laughing and loving every word.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2017This is book two in the series, I gave book one a five star review and found this book to also be a well written reader friendly story, I think book one was more interesting. That said, this is an interesting idea for a story. As a chemical company is playing with things they shouldn't the side effects of a chemical turn men into women. I found some humor in the story, of curse, it would be strange and a a bit unnerving to change ones' gender. The author does a good job with the story and I have a feeling #3 is on the way.
