Annie and Ryder's story is the third book in this series written by multiple authors. What a great read for the holiday season...or any other time!
Annie and her friends have bought the town's tree farm on an effort to keep it out of the wrong hands.
Ryder has returned home after fifteen years to attend his sister's funeral and sort out her estate.
Annie has always had a crush on Ryder and finds as an adult her feelings go even deeper. But she knows he'll leave again and wants to protect her heart. Ryder has ulterior motives for staying in town a while longer and when his feelings for Annie grow strong, he fears she'll hate him when she discovers his deception. The twists and turns in this story will keep you turning the pages.
Mystery, romance, and characters you'll love, make Angela Ford's, The Christmas Wreath, a must read.

I love immersion reading...reading a book and listening to the narration simultaneously. For this particular book, skip the narration. At 103 pages, it's a quick and easy read. Narration was the worst I've heard! Overall, the book was good (not great). In the Christmas romance category, I give it three stars. I wouldn't count on seeing it as an upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie.

This was a short, simple love story. She loved him at 15, he was 3 years older. He left their small town for the big city of New York and adventure. Fifteen years later he returns to bury his sister. There is a little mystery and the story is composed of his solving a crime and slowly falling in love with his teen-age friend, grown into a beautiful woman.I
The little town comes together to help them get their HEA. it was a sweet story. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it. No heavy sex scenes so any age could read it. In fact, I think it would really appeal to YAs.

The Christmas Wreath is book 3 in the Forever Christmas series, that four authors worked on together. Each author took one of the four women and focused their book on her.
    CANTAINS SPOILERS
Angela Ford writes the first Christmas Reflection, focus is on Annie Dixon Glenville, WA is a small town where everyone is always there to lend a helping hand when needed. When word goes around that the Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz are selling their tree farm. Wanting a change in what they do, the four women decide they might try to buy the farm and become their own bosses. Also the same day the town learns another one of their ski lodge is going to go on the market, because the manager Roy was skimming the books and fled the country. Annie was concerned about her friend Carrie, Roy's wife, but she wanted to be left alone, then she takes her life.
Ryder Harris returns to Glenville, undercover to locate Roy and the money, from this and the previous scam. With the timing he was able to use his sister death and sorting of her will as the perfect reason to be in town and for stick around for awhile.
With Ryder's return, all of Annie's feeling for Ryder returned, and it was no longer a childhood crush. Ryder was taken by Annie and had no problems getting closer to her, closer than he ever thought he would get to a woman. Having to lie to her about his reasons for being in Glenville, would that break the new relationship building or will they find a way around it?
Angela Ford, get her reader pulled into the story and this book is no exception. Take the time to check out this book as well as the rest of the Forever Christmas series.

I have never read anything by this author. The book was fabulous. I was a little hesitant to get it because I try to stick with Christian fiction. Christian fiction has romance without all the intimate scenes. This book has no Christian undertones but I was pleasantly surprised that it was a clean romance with only 3 foul words. I loved the story. It has depth which can sometimes be hard with novellas. Usually I feel novella stories are hurried up because of the short length. This romance had a little bit of a past between the 2 characters which probably made it more believable to me. I will definitely purchase more books by this author. The other books in the series also look like good reads but I haven't purchased them yet.

This is the third book in the Forever Christmas series. Each book will read as a standalone, but are better enjoyed if you read each of them. Welcome to Glenville, WA.

Annie Dixon is a hometown girl who has a gifted touch with turning flowers and wreathes into works of art. She has a bubbly personality and with her friends decide to jointly go together and purchase the Schwartz Christmas tree farm and turn it into Forever Christmas tree farm with each of the four ladies having their own business and homes there too. Annie's longtime friend, Carrie is devastated after her husband is caught embezzling from the Ski resort and leaves her. Suicide leaves Annie and the entire town in morning. Ryder Harris was Carrie's brother and he had left Glenville for New York. He comes home for the funeral. Annie has always had an infatuation with Ryder as a girl, and with his return she realizes the feelings haven't changed. But Ryder left before and his job will call him back. Annie just can't go through with the hurt of a broken heart again. Coming home to Glenville makes Ryder rethink his priorities. Can Ryder and Annie find love in a small town?

The general premise of this book was okay but the writing could have been better. The sentences were very short so that the writing seemed juvenile, and the story progressed so quickly that we had no time to get to know the characters. It was almost too short to form an opinion!

I loved this story that revolves around Annie, a florist who now owns Flowers for All Seasons at the Tree Farm.

The story begins back at the beginning of book 1 with the sale of the tree farm and the discovery that the ski hill was being mismanaged and funds stolen from Roy, who was married to one of Annie's closest friends from high school, Carrie. After Carrie commits suicide in the aftermath of her husbands fraud, Carrie's brother and Annie's high school crush Ryder comes back into town.

Ryder is a detective in New York and begins to pursue a relationship with Annie. But a secret that Ryder has may destroy any hope of a relationship with Annie. Can Ryder complete his job and win the woman of his dreams??

I loved this story so much! I loved the relationship between the two of them and I wanted more! This is a great short story with a wonderful Christmas spirit!
