Zombie Killing Stoners, Episode 1: Rescuing the Samoan Princess Kindle Edition
The ZomPoc has hit New York City like the ‘A’ train plowing into a baby stroller. A high rise at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge in Lower Manhattan has become the center of the universe for a group of survivors who think outside the box, and everyone understands the smoke signals from inside the bowl.
Lots of Zombies (no duh, it’s the Big Apple dumb*ss). Explosions. Awesome Views. Big Guns. Big Drag Queens. Kind Bud. Hot Babes. Mormons. Hot Not Babes. More Zombies. Laughs. Musicians. Thespians. Millionaires. Dogs. If these stories don’t have it, C & The Professor will go out and get it with some help from their loyal and imminently resourceful henchwoman Miss Smiley.
Anyone and anything is fair game for us to poke fun at; absolutely nothing is sacred. So sit back, do whatever works for you to free your mind and don’t take this too seriously; it's mental masturbation not the end of the weed.

About the authors
Not much is known about the mysterious and reclusive C. Che Bhalin, other than these few facts:
Born and raised in the Deep South.
A freethinking progressive gentleman.
Ageless.
Swam with sharks and alligators and still has all his digits.
The US Government and Interpol deny any knowledge of him.
Spent significant time in dubious South American and Caribbean countries.
It is said that he and the Professor courted over tequila while dancing in the rain.
He writes a mean zombie apocalypse story.
Professor B.T. Mienoré has been the writing partner, encourager, and cohort of C. Che Bhalin for many moons. The Prof is the yin to C. Che's yang.
While C. Che creates, the Professor provides structure, editing, and more detailed explanations while making sure the bowl is full and ready ;).
The Prof deals with all of Zombie Killing Stoners' PR, social media, and blogging.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2013First, I have to say that I am not the sort to usually go for a book like this, but after getting sucked in to a certain zombie centered television show, I became completely obsessed with zombies, but I mean who isn't? They're so much cooler than vampires. Said TV show seems to be on hiatus every time I turn around, and I'm afraid my zombie fascination isn't going away. I wanted a zombie story with an interesting spin to it, and ZKS was perfect. You don't have to be a resident of New York to be fascinated by the prospect of a zombie apocalypse in one of the world's greatest cities. And the characters in ZKS are a colorful lot that are at once endearing. (I love Rhonda!) And I love that ZKS isn't that heavy! I mean, yes, it's the end of the world and all, but who wants to cry about it the whole time? The ZKS handle the zombie apocalypse with humor, crass language, heavy artillery, and various other "outlets", so it's actually a fun romp through death and destruction, with some necessary sober moments. (But not too sober!) ZKS is a total release and a great ride. I can't wait for the coming episodes! If you're looking for a fun and feisty treatment to the "Zompoc" scenario, ZKS is that for sure. Enjoy it now. You can thank me later.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2013I got to the 65% mark and had to stop. I can deal with spelling/typos and some grammar issues to a point, but found the plot holes very distracting. Just one example is the character Woods. He draws a pistol and screws on a silencer, then takes a mini tomahawk in the other. With both hands full he manages to close doors in a hallway. Shortly after he runs into zombies in stairwell. He holsters said pistol with the silencer still attached so he can quietly kill some zombies with the tomahawk. At first I thought it might be that he only has a small amount of ammo and he is trying to conserve it, but later it states that he has an ample supply with him. Shortly after, he draws the pistol(with the silencer still attached) and shoots another in the head. Then worries about zeds hearing the noise from the shot.
There were other times when I had to go back and read over a section again thinking I missed something, but I didn't. There were another couple of times where his thoughts were written out as dialogue complete with " " marks. I'm not sure if he was thinking out loud or just talking to himself, it was never explained. These issue were distracting to where I really wasn't able to make any kind of connection with the characters.
I liked the title and cover. The scenes were descriptive and imaginative. With some basic editing and fixes, I think this could be a really good story.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2014It is a short book, but it left me wanting more. The lead characters are well prepared thanks to their job in the security field. One of them is a drag queen, which is well done, IMHO. There are nice details like a custom-made dress dummy for Polly included in the story, but it feels like a natural part of the story. This whole episode definitely feels like the set-up for a series, so just know going in that you won't get closure. But that's why it's "episode 1" not "the whole story"!
OK, so they didn't hire a professional proofreader - the reality is that indie authors usually can't afford it. It's still a fun book!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2013I'm a huge Walking Dead fan so naturally I've been drawn to anything zombie related and this grabbed my attention immediately. Definitely hysterical and off the wall so far. Can't wait to see what happens next. The character Woods is the man! Pack that bowl baby! LOL
- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2015A name like Zombie Killing Stoners seems to promise a specific three things at minimum that this story really falls short on providing. Also, the dialogue is a bit forced and painful. I like where this is going and I WANT to like the characters, but it's a struggle.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2013Omg I laughed myself silly with this one. I can't wait for the next one to come out. The only issue I had was it ended way to soon. I look forward to the next Episode.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2013Zombies takeover almost from the beginning of this story, and from then forward it is one heck of a good time!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2013Hilarious characters. Cinematic visuals. Great set piece for, hopefully, way more to come from this new voice for Zombiedom. So, what's next, dude? Give us some more!
