    This book has great techniques, it is backed by research but not a research report. It's a great balance between providing information and offering suggestions. I loved the actions steps at the end of each chapter as a way to summarize what you can do to create more happiness from the materials on that chapter.

    I am a negative thinker, so I got this book, but it had more a metaphysical/spiritual approach, which I no longer care for, but I can see where it could be helpful to others. I have a problem with taking books like these literally, and I've a problem with magical thinking. But if you are a more socialable or spiritual person, this is a great beginner's book for remedying negative thinking.

    This book is an excellent way to start a positive change in one's life. The author does an excellent job motivating as well making it easy to start things you can do today to improve your happiness level. One thing I liked is that it summarized each chapter into action steps at the end of chapter so you can better remember how to start changing your mindset about certain things in your life.

    I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in self-improvement!

    Simple, fast short MOTIVATING book! Clarity on the definition of happiness and how you should apply it to your life with techniques. I like the format of the book and the way the author gave you exercises at the completion of each chapter to practice her advice with an exercise and list of self-realizing questions.

    I would recommend this book. It is applicable in all aspects of life, Love, Marriage, Finances and Work, and Spiritual Growth.

    Not what I was expecting! When you choose a self help book you expect at least some directions on how to deal with some situations, with this book I didn't feel I got what I was looking for.
