Having discovered that he was not The Chosen One of which the ancient prophesises spoke, Iain Pattison ditched his kaftan, sold his sandals and vowed to eke out a living as an author and humorist. Between penning funny tales, he battles to give obscure words like eke a place in polite society. He resides in Birmingham, but often feels a mysterious urge to return to his cave in Tibet for Bank Holiday weekends.
"I will take you places you've never been and show you things you've never seen. Some may make you cringe, some may make you laugh, and others may make you lose sleep, but you won't be bored. And at the end, like any good roller coaster, you'll want to get on again for another ride. That's my mission." - Mark Souza

Emma Kathryn is a horror writer from Glasgow, Scotland.

She is rather tiny and rather mad.
Mark Taylor's debut novel crash landed on planet earth in 2013. Its dark brooding style benchmarked his writing and has led to further releases of novel and short story collection alike.
While most of Mark's work is macabre, occasion has it that he will write about kittens and daisies. Just not very often.
Some say he is a product of his environment, others, a product of his own imagination.
Whichever it is he works happily, portraying dark existences on this planet and others. He relays his fears and doubts on his characters, so always has a smile. If Mark is real, as some say he is, you might find him in England.
Perhaps.

"A fresh burn of imagination!" - Variety Reviews
"Definitely a great book." - Drunken Druids View
"Mark Taylor drags you down into the darkest and most twisted pits of human nature." - Darren Gallagher, author of Strings
"In The Human Condition, Mark Taylor blends American horror with an English elegance." - Eden Royce, author of Containment
"[Shutter Speed] worms its way into your psyche and latches on as you watch the events unfold." - The Bibliophilic Book Blog
C.D. Reimer writes about the everyday reality that he finds weird, twisted and absurd for which most people accept as being perfectly normal. He lives and works in Silicon Valley, consoling hurt computers and fixing broken users.
Indy McDaniel does the weird stuff. From the Globally Acknowledged squishy horror of Black Melt to the bone-crunchingly fierce action of the Nadya’s Nights series, there’s no shortage of bizarre nonsense he won’t do. He’s got body horror, he’s got werewolves with tentacles, he’s got killer space fungus, and he’s got some books about those things, too. Commonly described as ‘that weird guy over there’, he’s all too eager to share his assortment of dark silliness with whoever’s interested.

Darren Gallagher lives in Ireland. He loves writing all things Horror. From short stories, novelettes, novellas, and hopefully in the future Novels. All with one goal in mind, to entertain you... The Reader.
Jennifer L. Barnes lives in Southern Indiana with her patient husband and perhaps the world's most ungraceful cat. She was raised with wolves by a crazy biologist Shawnee Medicine Man so being normal was never an option for her. With a fascination for things that go Bump in the Night since she was a small child, she turns this towards her writing, else she'd go insane.
Her preferred genre is Urban Fantasy and has already had three stories published by Pill Hill Press within the last year with another one already contracted by them and another in the works from Norgus Press. Due to her love of 80's movies and comic books, she describes her works as "Big Dumb Fun" with sharp, witty dialogue and page turning action.

Lori Gordon resides in Chicago with Livvie Rose, cat extraordinaire. She is the author of the Skinbone Harris –Sierra Montgomery suspense series and the up-coming Sam Black psychological thriller series. Dean Harrison is a longtime fan of horror fiction. Though he’s spent time in the “real world” working as a shoe sales- man, a security guard, an investigator, a loss prevention detective and a journalist, he’s consistently returned to what he loves doing most— writing horror stories. His published work can be found in the anthologies FEM- FANGS, FELL BEASTS, RELICS & REMAINS, CHRISTMAS IN HELL and TWISTED TALES FROM THE TORCHLIGHT INN. More is to come. He lives with his family in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, a city rich in ghost stories.

Laura J. Hickman spends her life writing and creating new worlds. She has recently moved to the New England area, but spent the majority of her life in both New Orleans and Las Vegas. She has had stories published in numerous places, including Necon E-books, Pill Hill Press and 6 Sentences.
Her time spent in numerous places has helped her writing grow and has found inspiration in everything from the Florida Beaches, to the haunted streets of the French Quarter to the sin filled casinos of Las Vegas.
Kelly Metz is an author of urban fantasy, romance—both of the paranormal and contemporary persuasions—and whatever else strikes her fancy. Her lifelong goal is to raise miniature goats and write full-time while never getting out of her pajamas. With a day job in advertising, part-time job as a bookseller, a husband, three stepchildren, live-in parents, and a menagerie of pets, writing provides much needed downtime and entertainment—though really all the above provide source material. How does she manage to do it all? Easy. Sleep is for wimps. Please send her virtual caffeine at www.kellymetz.com.
Darin Kennedy, born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Bowman Gray School of Medicine. After completing family medicine residency in the mountains of Virginia, he served eight years as a United States Army physician and wrote his first novel in the sands of northern Iraq.
His first published novel, The Mussorgsky Riddle, was born from a fusion of two of his lifelong loves: classical music and world mythology. The Stravinsky Intrigue continues those same themes, and his Fugue & Fable trilogy culminates in The Tchaikovsky Finale. The Pawn Stratagem, his contemporary fantasy trilogy of Pawn’s Gambit, Queen’s Peril, and King’s Crisis combines contemporary fantasy, superheroics, and the ancient game of chess. His YA novel is Carol, a modern-day retelling of A Christmas Carol billed as Scrooge meets Mean Girls.
His latest series, Songs of the Ascendant, falls at the intersection of Highlander, X-Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Chuck, all told through a filter of 80s pop music and specifically the oeuvre of Pat Benatar. Comprised thus far of Shadows of the Night, All Fired Up, and You Better Run, this story is just getting started.
His short stories can be found in numerous anthologies and magazines, and the best, particularly those about a certain Necromancer for Hire, are collected for your reading pleasure under Darin’s imprint, 64Square Publishing.
Doctor-by-day and novelist-by-night, he writes and practices medicine in Charlotte, NC. When not engaged in either of the above activities, he has been known to strum the guitar, enjoy a bite of sushi, and rumor has it he even sleeps on occasion.
Scott M. Sandridge’s first short story, “Treecutter,” was published in "The Sword Review" in July 2005. Since then, he’s gone on to publish more short stories, and write reviews for "Tangent Online," "Withersin," and "The Fix." He has also been a columnist for the Double-Edged Publishing webzines, a Submissions Editor for "Ray Gun Revival," and the Managing Editor of "Fear and Trembling." He is currently an editor for Seventh Star Press.
His flash fiction story, “Sleep Paralysis”, was a Top Ten Finisher in the 2008 P&E Readers Poll for Best Short Story – Horror.
His short stories have appeared in various online magazines and print anthologies, including "Silver Blade," "Every Day Fiction," "Morpheus Tales: Dark Sorcery Special Edition," and anthologies from Pill Hill Press, Wicked East Press, and Seventh Star Press.
"The Silverblade Prophecy" is his first published novel.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2012A very solid read. Nearly all the authors involved are new to the craft, so a few of the stories do fall flat, but there is such a sheer variety, and for an EXTREMELY fair price (particularly the $5 Kindle version!) that there's really no reason not to pick it up. If even four or five of the 30+ stories appeal to you, then it was worth the price of admission, and most likely you're going to find more than that if you're a fan of vampire fiction in any way. My particular favorites were the stories by F.J.R. Titchenell, which featured one of the charmingly malicious twists I've ever seen; the work by Ray Cluley, which managed to humanize the Brides of Dracula (!) withOUT making them any bit less monstrous and cruel; and 'Night of the Suck' by Jennifer L. Barnes, which gets serious amusement props for somehow managing to make getting shot in the face and waking up in the morgue seem roughly in the ballpark of losing your car keys. But overall, there are plenty of fine short stories in here, and anyone with a taste for vampires should see this book as a solid value.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2010The versatility of the vampire myth from a story-telling standpoint is really mind-blowing and on full display in this book. I heard about this short story collection from Jennifer Chambers, author of Undead Ladies Who Lunch, when we met at the Southern Oregon Author and Book Fair. Chambers' story is very short and very clever. I love vampire characters who move confidently in the modern world and make us think twice about our everyday activities, in this case, the Macy's makeup counter. Pattison's story about Van Helsing as divorce lawyer surprised me and his Vamp is delicious. And Lee's story, which opens the collection, delivers a robust Anne Rice patina that made me surprisingly nostalgic for the genuine period gothic tradition. Al in all, a solid collection and makes for great airplane, poolside or late-night easy reading.
