A time-space wormhole is discovered that for a brief time will connect Terra (old earth) with the planet Cassandra. Three explorers are chosen to travel to Cassandra and search for a lost Terran colony.
They make a successful transfer but discover they cannot survive in Cassandra’s harsh atmosphere.
They are saved by an ugly intelligent camand and a wandering Brother who has unusual and challenging dreams for the new comers. Can they fulfill the Brother’s dream? Only if they can survive mind benders, Evader hunters, crooked politicians, bandits while adapting to new identities and cultures.
Their adventures and discoveries will change the futures of both Terra and Cassandra.
